Gwyneth Paltrow Celebrates Apple's Birthday with Sweet Throwback

The proud mama honored her daughter's birthday with a sweet throwback snap on Instagram

Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her daughter’s 11th birthday on Thursday, posting a beautiful, never-before-seen photo of Apple as a baby.

“11 years ago this brilliant, kind, hilarious beauty graced our lives. Happy birthday, Apple Martin. I love you with all my heart,” the 42-year-old actress captioned the sweet snap.

With her piercing blue eyes and tuft of blonde hair, Paltrow’s baby girl bears a striking resemblance to her mom even at just a few weeks old. (Clearly, she didn’t fall far from the tree!)

The celebrations started early for Apple with a family trip to Disneyland in California on Sunday. Along with her mom, younger brother Moses, 9, and dad, Chris Martin, the birthday girl enjoyed a day of rides and exploring the theme park.

Despite filing for divorce at the end of April, Paltrow and Martin continue to be on good terms and seemed to be enjoying their time together with the kids.

The friendly exes also recently took Apple and Moses to Mexico for spring break, and were spotted out as a family at a festival in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Although Paltrow was a no-show at the Met Gala on May 4, the actress was still in great (and adorable!) company. She posted a picture of her daughter wearing a blue onesie and monster feet with the caption, “This was the red carpet in my house last night.”
