How does it feel to be serenaded for your birthday by thousands of people? Just ask Gwen Stefani‘s son, Zuma Nesta Rock.

“Would you guys sing ‘Happy Birthday’ with us?” the singer, 46, asked the audience at her Austin, Texas, concert Tuesday as she put her arms around her middle child, who turns 8 on Sunday.

The crowd cheers as Stefani’s oldest son Kingston James McGregor, 10, presents his brother with a cake, candles lit and all. About halfway through the tune, Stefani takes her youngest son Apollo Bowie Flynn from someone on stage, and he finishes the song into the mic.

“Happy birthday to you,” the 2-year-old, who is Stefani’s third child with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, can be heard singing.

“Don’t leave! Please, just stay for one second — there’s a very special thing about to happen right here,” the singer begged her audience at the end of her Austin show before bringing Zuma out on stage. “Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale is turning 8 years old.

“He’s been working the tour — he’s been doing quick-change in the back,” the mom of three continues, raising his arm high in the air with pride.



In a video Stefani posted to Snapchat shortly following the latest show on her This Is What The Truth Feels Like tour, her sons can be seen clamoring around the basketball-themed cake.

“What’d you get, Zumes?” a voice can be heard saying in the background as the soon-to-be 8-year-old smiles and looks down excitedly.
