Celebrity Parents Gena Lee Nolin chats about her new son, Hudson By Staff Author Published on July 14, 2006 10:44 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Former Baywatch star Gena Lee Nolin, 34, and her husband, hockey player Cale Hulse, 32, sat down with People earlier this week to discuss their son, 3 month old Hudson Lee. Some interview highlights: -Although we previously posted birth stats and a photo of Hudson after he was born in Arizona, Gena tells People magazine that her labor with him ended in an emergency c-section at 10:30 pm, after 14 hours of labor. -Also, although we knew Hudson had an older brother (Spencer, 9, from Gena’s previous marriage), he also has a big sister – Cale’s daughter Caia, 5. -On feeding her baby – Gena is doing a combination of nursing at the breast and pumping into bottles, so that Cale can feed Hudson as well. Cale "jumps up for feedings" – he’s that excited to feed his new son! She says, "It’s not realistic to get super skinny in a month," so she’s attempting to get down to her pre-pregnancy weight over the course of six months by doing light cardio and weight lifting five days a week. -Gena loves doing television work, but says for now, being a mom takes precendence. "I want to work, but being a mom is my No. 1 priority. My children teach me to slow down and enjoy life. … My children are the reason I laugh, smile and want to get up every morning."
