Gavin Rossdale is clear on one thing – he loves his boys and he wants everyone to know it.

“Kingston and Zuma are here,” he told the audience before ending his performance with his band Bush at the 4th annual Make-A-Wish Wishing Well gala in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. “My boys, I love you with all my heart.”

Rossdale was casually dressed in a red tee pulled over a long sleeved white undershirt and black jeans. He performed acoustic style, sitting on a stool – guitar in hand – as part of a star studded evening where Robert Downey Jr. and Scooter Braun were honored for their humanitarian efforts by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“I’m so happy to be here,” Rossdale said. “Following Robert is a tough gig.”

Rossdale, 50, recently spoke out about his divorce from former wife of 12 years, Gwen Stefani.

“I have an incredible life with [my kids] and that’s what matters,” the singer who is set to be a mentor on the U.K version of The Voice said to the U.K. publication The Times.

“You can’t keep up with all the vitriol. Just don’t get into all that.”

Rossdale and Stefani — who share children Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 — announced their split last August. Stefani has moved on with her fellow Voice mentor Blake Shelton. The duo began dating last November and have been going strong through the summer.
