Don’t ask Dane DeHaan to concentrate on anything when his baby girl is nearby.

The Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets star revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night that his car got stolen after he focused solely on Bowie Rose, his 3-month-old daughter with actress Anna Wood.

“I’m just obsessed [with her]. It’s my entire world,” DeHaan said. “My car got stolen the other day. I parked the car — Bowie was in her car seat and I got out of the car. I was so focused on getting her into the stroller, and into the apartment that I forgot to turn the car off and take the keys out of the car!”

“So, I left it parked on the side of the street running. In Brooklyn!” DeHaan added.

Although the car was eventually recovered, DeHaan had gotten another — but he did the same thing again.

“I parked the car on the side of the street and I left it running for seven hours,” he revealed, laughing. “And I was out walking my dog, and I walked by the car, just sitting on the side of the street running. And I ran to the car and turned it off. And I haven’t done it since.”

While it seemed a rough start in learning to multitask, DeHaan said he’s never experienced this level of love.

“It’s a whole new thing, man,” he told Fallon. “I had a dog, always. And I really loved my dog, like a lot.”

He continued, causing the audience to laugh, “And I felt like my love for my dog was equal to that of a human child. But then Bowie was born. I love her so much more than my dog now.”
