Australian actor, Russell Crowe, revealed the inspiration for his new son’s name. Baby boy, Tennyson Spencer Crowe, was named after English poet Lord Alfred Tennyson Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

Crowe told Australian newspaper, The Sun-Herald yesterday, that he and his wife, Danielle, shared a passion for a particular stanza of one of the poet’s early sonnets.

The sonnet reads: If I were loved, as I desire to be/What is there in the great sphere of the earth/And range of evil between death and birth/That I should fear, if I were loved by thee?

Crowe was at North Shore Private Hospital all day yesterday with Danielle and "Tenny". Crowe also added that, "Dani’s doing great [and] Charlie’s very happy."
