Baby Girl on the Way for Zac Brown Band's Coy Bowles

Coy Bowles' second child on the way with wife Kylie will be another daughter, due in the spring, his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively

Another dose of pink power is about to hit Coy Bowles’ household!

The Zac Brown Band member and his wife Kylie are expecting their second child, another daughter, his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. The baby girl is due in the spring, and will join big sister Hattie, 13 months.

“You think you have the most amazing life by having your dreams come true as a musician and marrying the woman of your dreams. But then you add a lil’ baby girl, our daughter Hattie Bowles, to the mix, and it’s like you’ve never really lived and loved until she was here,” Bowles tells PEOPLE.

“I can’t wait to have it happen again with baby girl No. 2,” continues the 38-year-old proud dad. “The whole family is super excited.”

The exciting news comes just over a year after the spouses welcomed Hattie, their first child, into the world — and the little girl’s first birthday blowout was definitely one for the books, complete with her own smash cake topped with a tiny pink flamingo.

Hattie’s dad has been busy, too. His band wrapped their 43-date Welcome Home Tour in late October, and Bowles is now gearing up to release his fourth children’s book. Titled Behind the Little Red Door, the story stokes young readers’ imaginations by encouraging them to use their creativity to figure out what is behind the book’s titular item.

Behind the Little Red Door is being published in partnership with Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. They are celebrating their 25th anniversary of the Georgia Pre-K program, which is free for 4-year-olds statewide.

Eighty-four thousand copies of he new book — which will be available for purchase on Bowles’ website — will be given out in school districts across the state of Georgia.

“Knowing that my kids will be going to school in Georgia makes the picture book that I’m doing for the 25th birthday celebration of this amazing Pre-K program so special and rewarding,” Bowles tells PEOPLE.

“Teachers work so hard, and my goal was to give back to the educational community and this wonderful program,” he adds. “Behind the Little Red Door will be given out to 84,000 kids … I can’t wait for them to read it.”

“Georgia’s nationally recognized Pre-K Program celebrates its 25th birthday this school year, and having Coy partner with us on this fun new book is really icing on the cake,” Bright from the Start Commissioner Amy M. Jacobs tells PEOPLE. “The story encourages all of us to use our creativity and imagination, which are key elements in early learning.”
