Corey Stoll Can't Wait to Play Action Figures with His Son
The dad-to-be can't wait for the day he and his son can play action figures together
Becoming a new dad means investing in diapers, bottles and … action figures?
Actor and dad-to-be Corey Stoll told PEOPLE at the Ant-Man screening — hosted by The Cinema Society and Audi in N.Y.C. on Monday — that he is going to immerse his future baby boy in comics.
“Why wait, right? Watchmen at 6 months,” Stoll says.
Stoll recently married actress Nadia Bowers on June 21 and revealed they are expecting their first child together.
When asked what he is most excited about when it comes to being a dad, he says, “Playing with my Yellowjacket action figure with him.”
But if his son grows up to be anything like Stoll’s villain, Yellowjacket, in Ant-Man, he might be in trouble.
“I do think the inspiration was myself when I was 10 years old. The most spoiled [and] needy [a] child could be,” Stoll says. “That’s really what this supervillain is all about — a kid who didn’t get the action figure he wanted and his brother got that action figure … blowing that up to the nth degree.”
