Now that Christmas is around the corner, we’re guessing your child’s wish list falls somewhere between this and, well, nothing.

So to offer a little inspiration outside of our gift guides, we asked a few of our mom bloggers to tell us what their kids are hoping for — and in some cases, getting– this holiday season. Very merry, indeed!

Sons Azer, 11, George, 10, and Henry, 9, are dreaming big this year. Azer wants a Gibson guitar because “music is everything to me, and that’s what Green Day uses.” For George, it’s all about the newest PlayStation 4. “I need to keep up with technology and my friends. Plus, soon all the cool games will just be for the 4.” And Henry is hoping for an Apple MacBook Pro, so “when my friends come over and we play Minecraft, we won’t have to share [the game].”

Mom’s response? “WHAT??!! When I was little …”

Jenna von Oy

“Our daughter fancies herself a mini-Michelangelo these days,” von Oy jokes of little Gray, 18 months.

“Since she isn’t particularly discriminatory about her artistic medium, our cabinets, doors, walls and refrigerator are all in jeopardy of becoming her masterpieces! We are hoping an easel will be a welcome distraction …”

Twin boys Jax and Jaid, 6, “want those silly Tummy Stuffer animals,” the actress says.

“I think when it’s time to clean their rooms they’ll want to stuff everything in [them]!”

“We’re planning on getting her a little guitar,” Sokoloff shares of 21-month-old daughter Elliotte‘s gift.

“She loves music and is always trying to play my guitar, so I want to get her a mini-sized one so we can rock out together. A purple one, since that seems to be her favorite color.”

Daughter Easton, 5½, already knows she likes her Christmas gift — even if she doesn’t realize what she’s getting just yet!

“She loves her pink Razor scooter and can’t wait for the new one,” the American Hustle star says.
