Celebrity Parents Chocolate & crushed ice are just two staples for a pregnant Britney Spears By Staff Author Published on August 16, 2006 07:59 PM Share Tweet Pin Email In an interview with People magazine, scheduled to hit newsstands Friday, Britney Spears says that there were a lot of unexpected things that have occurred during her pregnancy, including her cravings. "Crunching ice and chocolate, oh my God," she says. "I’ll get up in the middle of the night and I’ll get a Hershey’s bar, the real big ones, and I’ll put it in the microwave and melt it and eat it. It sounds disgusting, but it’s so satisfying." Britney is expecting her second child with her husband, dancer Kevin Federline. The two already have an 11-month-old son named Sean Preston. The popstar admits that she and Kevin still don’t know the sex of this baby and that Sean and baby number two "are going to be so close together, it’s going to be weird. But I love it." It has been reported that Britney does not trust medical personnel to keep the baby’s sex private, (as it was leaked with Sean), so she’s chosen not to find out what she’s having. Britney will deliver this baby by a scheduled c-section, just like she did with Sean. It’s expected that she’ll give birth during the third week of September. The once famously svelte star has gained about 40 pounds with her pregnancy and has plans to hit the gym and begin a diet shortly after the baby is born. She says that this pregnancy was not planned and she doesn’t want to rush into having any more children. "It just kind of happened. I’m going to wait a while for the next (one)!," she says. "I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 10 years!" However, no matter how excited Britney is about the impending birth of her second child, the prospect of having two young children so close in age is beginning to take it’s toll on the singer. She says she’ll just do as her mother says and take it "one day at a time." "It is now starting to get a little tiring, holding (Sean Preston), but the whole pregnancy I’ve done it a lot because he’s very attached," she tells the magazine. "It makes me feel needed and wanted, so I like it too." Source: Yahoo News What were your pregnancy cravings, if any?
