Diaper duty is about to give Hell’s Kitchen a whole new meaning for Charlie Cox!

On Sunday, the English star of Marvel’s hit Netflix series Daredevil announced he and his girlfriend are expecting a baby “very soon” while in attendance at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto.

“My girlfriend [was] pretty amused when I said I was going to Toronto a couple weeks beforehand, by the way,” Cox, 33, told panel moderator and Marvel Entertainment chief creative officer Joe Quesada when the latter brought up the baby news.

“And I went, ‘So, keep your legs closed,’ ” Cox added.

Cox, who plays blind attorney-by-day, vigilante-by-night Matt Murdock on the show, is notably private about his personal life.

But he definitely found a way to make Quesada’s announcement work in his — and his future addition’s! — favor.

“I kind of feel like I’m putting you on the spot here,” he told the moderator, “but one of the things [my girlfriend] said to me before I left was, ‘If you see Joe, you have to convince him to do a Baby Daredevil drawing for us.’ ”

According to a baby registry, Cox’s girlfriend is Samantha Thomas, a producer for two other Marvel series: Daredevil’sNetflix companion Jessica Jones as well as ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Cox, who also has credits in Boardwalk Empire, The Theory of Everythingand the 2007 fantasy film Stardust, will be seen in Daredevil again — the series was just renewed for a third season.
