Celebrity Apprentice contestant talks about keeping pregnancy a secret
Tiffany Fallon, Playboy model and wife of Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney, says that she kept her newly pregnant status a secret from producers of Celebrity Apprentice because she "didn’t want it to be held against me or for it to help me."
I wanted whatever was going to happen to happen [by] my own merits or my teammates’ merits.
While shooting the show, Tiffany was about two-months along, and she suffered from persistent morning (and night!) sickness that lingered until very recently. Tiffany, 33, says she is due in May and will learn the baby’s sex during an ultrasound scheduled for next week. Competing on Celebrity Apprentice wasn’t the only big undertaking of Tiffany’s first trimester, however. In November she posed for the cover of the February issue of Playboy, again keeping her pregnancy a secret.
I was like, ‘I’m not turning this opportunity down, two months pregnant or not.’ I’m just going to keep it under my pillow and say, ‘This is what I looked like back when. Not too shabby for 2½ months [pregnant].’
Tiffany adds,
I found it to be an honor. It was just a really cool time in my life and all this great stuff has happened. I just feel really blessed and have such a wonderful husband and someone who is supportive and caring. Now after the big Apprentice premiere and the magazine comes out, I’ll have a little time to be pregnant and plump and wear stretch pants every day.
Celebrity Apprentice debuts tonight on NBC.
