Looking for some advice on some great baby-buys? Check out our new series — CBB Registry — where our staff fills you in on their ‘must-have’ baby products. Fashion, babywearing, strollers, bottles…we cover it all!

Today we’re featuring one of our reviewers, Stephanie, and her baby essentials.

Stephanie, one of our newest reviewers, is mom to both a 3-year-old son and a 4-month-old daughter. With the countless products she has reviewed, she has gotten all the experience one needs to put together a top-notch baby essential list!

Aden and Anais Muslin Blankets ($45, Stephanie’s daughter pictured swaddled below-right) These lightweight swaddlers wrap baby without adding a lot of extra warmth, so they’re perfect for summer newborns. They also pack so easily in a diaper bag.

CBB Deal: West Village Kids is offering 25% off with coupon code "cbbaden" on their Aden and Anais blankets. Expires 5/31/08.

Baby Bjorn Bouncy Chair ($100, Stephanie’s daughter pictured in bouncy chair, below-left) There’s something about the gentle bounce of this chair that makes every baby relax. Relaxed baby? Enough said!

Baby Book by Dr. Sears The father of Attachment Parenting explains it all. From birth bonding to breastfeeding and babywearing, Dr. Sears discusses the 7 B’s of Attachment Parenting as well as baby’s development. This book will be a well-thumbed resource through baby’s first year.

Cotton Prefolds Sure they’re diapers, but they’re also burp cloths, baby-barf wipers, leaky-milk-absorbers, and more! These things do it all. They’re far from stylish, I know, but even if you’re not using cloth diapers, you’ll find a use for at least a dozen of these.

Miracle Blanket ($30) If I told you your baby would sleep longer when wrapped in this special swaddler, you’d want it, wouldn’t you? So does every new mom!

CBB Deal: Miracle Blanket is offering $5 off of your purchase with coupon code "CELBEB12". Expires 12/31/08. Read the Miracle Blanket review.

Moby Stretchy Wrap ($40) My daughter (pictured below-right in her wrap) has practically lived in the Moby her entire life — all four months of it. Her face lights up and she stops crying when she sees us start to put it on. And it’s pretty much the only place she’ll sleep. I really don’t know what we’d do without it! (Read the Moby Wrap review)

CBB Deal: is offering free shipping on orders of $39 or more with coupon code "CBBFreeShip". Expires 07/21/2008.

Nosefrida ($18) Babies don’t like being stuffed-up — when it’s hard to breathe, it’s hard to eat. Nothing clears out a baby’s nose like this thing. It’s so simple to use, they’ll be breathing easy in seconds.

Padraig Booties ($20) Sometimes those tiny toes need warm, soft, sheepskin soles to wiggle in. The adorable quotient is sky-high when you slip a little cream-colored pair on a newborn’s itsy-bitsy feet.

Pigeon Nail Scissors ($14) No baby nail scissor can ever compete with the comfort, ease, and precision of these amazing Japanese ones. I paid an arm and a leg for mine in a local baby boutique and they were

worth every single penny.

Tiny Diner Placemat ($11) This placemat will prove invaluable to parents who take their children out to eat (by which I mean lazy parents like me!) Rolls up to fit in a diaper bag and provides baby with a safe, clean eating surface.
