The Grey's Anatomy star is expecting her second child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE

Grey’s Anatomy star Caterina Scorsone is pregnant, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The actress revealed that she’s expecting her second child Thursday at a Television Critics Association event, walking the red carpet with a baby bump, which she also spoke about with some reporters.

“[We’re] very, very excited,” Scorsone, 34, told Entertainment Tonight at the TCA party. As for shooting the next season of Grey’s, she said she’s due in the middle of production.

“We’re picking up the season immediately after we left off, which was the wedding where Amelia was not pregnant,” the mom-to-be shared, adding there’ll be “very fancy footwork for the director of photography.”

Scorsone is already mom to 4-year-old daughter Eliza, whom she and husband Rob Giles welcomed in July 2012. The actress revealed to ET that although they know the sex of their baby on the way, they’re keeping it private for now.

Following the announcement, fans of the star flocked to her Instagram page, congratulating her on the impending bundle of joy.
