Carrie Underwood Posts Adorable Photo of Son: 'I Don't Deserve Such Sweetness'

Carrie Underwood is quite the doting mother.

The singer counted her blessings in a Wednesday Instagram post featuring her adorable 17-month-old son Isaiah Michael.

“He soaks in the sunshine…and I realize that he is mine… I don’t deserve such sweetness! #blessed #momlife,” she captioned the photo.

In the sweet snap Isaiah indeed soaks up some sun as he sits outdoors, smiling into the sky.

Underwood, 33, welcomed her first child with husband Mike Fisher in February of last year, and has been open about her journey into motherhood, telling PEOPLE last October that she wants to raise her son to “have a loving heart toward people who are different.”

“Mike and I talk about teaching him how to approach everybody in a loving way, even if they’re not the same, and to try to say, ‘You know what? God loves them, so it should be my job to my best to love them as well,'” Underwood added.

The country star didn’t just share her hopes for her son, she dished up some maternal realness, revealing that she struggles with mom guilt just like every other parent when they welcome a new baby.

“You feel guilty about every single thing, every decision you make, everything you do,” Underwood said.
