On the heels of Brooke Shields and Courteney Cox-Arquette, singer and new mom Carnie Wilson has also come out and revealed her struggles after the birth of daughter Lola. In the new issue of People, Carnie discusses how she "cried over everything" after the birth of her daughter in late April. Although she had a mild case and did not need to use anti-depressants, Carnie did receive help through the use of hypnosis tapes, and found that excercising helped her to feel more positive.

However, she says that she disagrees with Tom Cruise’s public disapproval of anti-depressants, saying, "I don’t think Tom Cruise is right…[medication] can help us live a happier life." She does agree with Cruise about the importance of eating right and working out, although she doesn’t think it should be seen as a solution, saying "[Tom is] right about exercise and vitamins. I do feel better when I’m exercising and eating correctly, but I don’t think that will work entirely for everyone. I was lucky."
