Bryce Harper just hit a life-achievement home run — he’s going to be a dad!
The newly signed Philadelphia Phillies right fielder, 26, and his wife Kayla are expecting their first child, a baby boy, they both announced Monday in coordinating Instagram posts featuring photographs shot by Lindsey Boluyt.
“Philly raised little man will be! 💯👶🏼 #BabyHarper,” Harper captioned his photo set, showing the spouses posing with a pint-sized jacked that read “BABY HARPER” on the back alongside his jersey number, 3, and a second snapshot of a tiny Phillies jacket next to the baby’s ultrasound photo.
Kayla, 26, shared the same couple photograph and ultrasound image, plus a close-up of the denim jacket she and her husband are holding in the first shot.
“Wrigley’s gonna be pissed … Baby Harper making HIS debut Aug. 2019 💙👶🏼 #littleman,” she wrote.

This past December, Kayla shared a photo of the pair from the back during their nuptials, writing, “I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of reminiscing about this magical day with you for the rest of my life. Happy Anniversary my love! 💍🤵🏼I love you #thesequel”
