Bristol Palin Posts Cute Photo of Baby Daughter Sailor Grace After Changing Her Last Name
"So in love," Bristol Palin captioned a photo of her daughter, Sailor Grace Palin Meyer
Say hello to Sailor Grace Palin Meyer!
Just days after Bristol Palin agreed to change her 4-month-old daughter’s last name from Palin to Meyer following her ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer’s court petition, the proud mom of two took to her Instagram to share an adorable photo of Sailor Grace.
The sweet snapshot shows Palin’s daughter smiling as she snuggles up on the couch in an outfit that will surely make her the envy of infants everywhere. From her striped bow headband down to her white leather moccasins, Sailor Grace’s style game is on point.
“So in love,” Palin captioned the photo, which comes days after she and her ex-fiancé legally changed their daughter’s name to Sailor Grace Palin Meyer on her birth certificate.
Palin’s lawyer told PEOPLE in a statement at the time: “Bristol consented to the change of name some time ago,” adding that both Palin and Meyer are “talking directly and just being parents without involving the lawyers.”
The agreement follows a months-long custody battle between the former couple, who welcomed their daughter in December. In March, an Alaska judge awarded Palin and Meyer joint legal and physical custody of their child and ruled that Meyer, who lives in Kentucky, could visit his daughter twice a month for four consecutive days.
Earlier this week, Palin posted a photo of herself and Meyer holding Sailor Grace together. She captioned the photo “#coparenting.”
