"My surfing baby, Tobias," the 25-year-old wrote alongside a photo on Instagram
The adorable infant was poised to tackle a wave in a new photo posted by Hamilton, the professional surfer who lost her arm to a 2003 shark attack.
In the image, tiny Tobias lounged in crystal-clear waters atop a blue board.
“My surfing baby, Tobias,” Hamilton, 25, wrote.
The Hawaii native also shared a family selfie with beaming Tobias and her husband Adam Dirks last week, writing on Instagram, “Bye 2015 and Happy New Year from us.”

It appears that Tobias is often present for his parents’ tropical adventures. In another Instagram photo, the tiny tot sat beachside with Hamilton.
“Beach bonding with my babe,” the surfer wrote.
The adventurous little boy even seemed at ease atop a giant jetski.
“Tobias rambling the Jetski making sure it works good for mom and da crew,” Hamilton wrote of a Monday photo.
While Hamilton previously told PEOPLE she is “loving” motherhood, the star wasted no time getting back into the water after giving birth – she competed professionally just three months later.
“[It’s] definitely such a big adjustment,” Hamilton told PEOPLE of balancing her new life as a mom. “Even surfing, I’ll just be thinking of him. I’ll get back from the beach and I’m like, ‘Oh, I’ve missed you little guy!’ “
