Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine might not be done expanding their family just yet.

PEOPLE caught up with the model and mother of two Thursday during the 7 for All Mankind Spring/Summer 2019 Launch Party, held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, where she dished about the couple’s open-ended plans for giving their daughters Gio Grace, 1, and Dusty Rose, 2, a sibling.

“I think so. It’s not out of the question,” Prinsloo, 30, replied when asked if she thought they would have more kids. “I grew up an only child, so I always wanted a big family.”

Her comments echo those given by Levine, 39, when the Maroon 5 frontman visited Ellen DeGeneres‘ daytime talk show in November 2017 and told the host, “[Behati] was an only child, so she wants like 100 babies. I don’t know if I can do that. That’s a lot of babies.”

“He’s almost the stricter [parent] and I thought I’d be the stricter one,” she said. “He kinda took it, and I’m okay with it. He’s so dedicated, he’s so excited. He’s on tour right now and he’s so sad to be away from them.”

“It’s so exciting to see your partner — you don’t know how they’re going to be as a parent and you two together, and it’s amazing to see him really taking the role and loving it, especially with two girls,” Prinsloo praised Levine.

Prinsloo is fully aware of the pressure surrounding moms, but is just trying to take it day by day and continually put into practice what works for her.

“Just trying to always do your best and feeling like you can always do better,” she said about the biggest challenge of motherhood. “We put so much pressure on ourselves. I think to get over that and be like, ‘You’re exactly what they want, you’re exactly what they need, you’re doing okay and you’re enough.’ ”

“That, and trying to balance work and motherhood is a challenge too,” Prinsloo admitted. “I remind myself of my parents and how incredible they are as my parents, and all they can do is their best so all I can do is my best too.”
