Behati Prinsloo Celebrates Daughter Gio Grace's First Birthday with Adorable Video

The Victoria's Secret model wished her second-born a happy birthday on Instagram Friday

On Friday, the Victoria’s Secret model celebrated the first birthday of her daughter Gio Grace, whom she shares with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine — and the party, of course, included tons of balloons and Moana.

Sharing several posts on Instagram, Prinsloo, 30, first showed off the extravagant balloon display she had in their dining room. In the photo, tons of colorful balloons decorated the ceiling of the room, while multiple vases with flowers lined the table.

The model also had “Gio is 1” in giant gold balloons written across the wall, while a rainbow cake and tiers of desserts sat in the corner on another table.

“My little GG is 1 i love you,” she captioned the colorful shot.

But perhaps the sweetest birthday tribute was the video Prinsloo had recorded on her Instagram Stories of Gio dancing along to “Where You Are” from Moana.

As Gio stood and watched the movie on the television, she bopped back and forth to the happy tune while holding onto the coffee table for support.

“Can’t believe my little alien is 1 today. Love you baby GG,” Prinsloo wrote underneath the adorable clip.

Prinsloo wasn’t the only person to wish her baby girl a happy birthday, either.

The proud mama’s pal, Lorenn Van Gorder, also wrote a sweet tribute to Gio on her Instagram, alongside a photo of the baby wearing a bathing suit and an animal print sunhat.

“Happy FIRST Birthday Sweet Gio,” she wrote. “Love you so much.”

Prinsloo and Levine, 39, welcomed their second daughter last year and announced the happy news in a post on Instagram. The pair also share 2-year-old daughter Dusty Rose, whom they welcomed in September 2016.

“She’s got her dads toes,” the mom of two captioned a sweet shot of her newborn’s feet.

During an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show in May, Levine joked that the couple wasn’t done with expanding their family after the birth of Gio in February.

“At this rate, I think I’m going to definitely let my wife be in control of the timing of the next child,” he said. “We want, like, a lot. At least [five].”

“Like Maroon 5,” joked the host.

“Maroon 5. We have to have a band of children,” replied Levine — teasing that the more little ones they have, the more it’s an “insurance policy for your future.”

Though Levine and Prinsloo have chosen not to post too many photos of their daughters, they’ve been showing off their cuties even more lately.

Around Thanksgiving, Prinsloo shared a belated message to Instagram, which came attached to a rare photo. In the adorable family portrait, Prinsloo and the Maroon 5 frontman smiled while both proud parents pushed their kids on a swing set.

The picture came with a simple caption in all caps: ‘THANKFUL.”

And most recently, Prinsloo showed off their children cheering on their famous father as he performed with Maroon 5 at the 2019 Super Bowl LIII Pepsi Halftime Show.

The photo featured the girls sitting in front of the television, as they watched their dad perform with his band in front of a crowd of cheering fans at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta.

“We love you dada!!!! #superbowl53,” Prinsloo captioned the adorable shot.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight before the Super Bowl, Levine said his daughters would be cheering him on from home.

“The little, little kids, they are going to stay home,” he said. “It is a little bit of a fiasco out here, it is a little crazy, so we are going to keep them home… but they are going to watch on TV and I am going to wear daddy bracelets so they can see that I am representing them well… They get to watch on TV, I am sure they prefer that too, instead of the chaos.”
