Are you a Los-Angeles-based family with a hands-on Dad?

Our friends over at Earnshaw’s magazine are doing another focus group discussion on Saturday, September 23rd in Los Angeles, CA. (They did one back in June in Dallas, TX. You can view the photos and transcript here.) This time, they are looking for dads.

As dads become more and more hands-on in bringing up baby, manufacturers are trying to design products that appeal to them. Earnshaw’s wants to find out how real dads think the manufacturers are doing.

Participants must have sons who are between the ages of 1 and 8 years old. They are looking for a variety of voices, in terms of income levels, spending habits and shopping habits (high-end, mass market, etc.) who will be vocal about their level of interest in the types of clothes their sons wear and the looks and functionality of the juvenile products they have (including strollers, diaper bags, baby swings, etc).
The location is a children’s wear retail shop in L.A. The day/time is Sept 23 at 9:30 am for up to an hour and a half.

You will need to give permission to use your names and image (there’ll be a photographer) in the magazine. As a thank you, each participant will receive a goodie bag.

If you are interested, please email with the following information: Your name, where you live in/near Los Angeles (you are responsible for your own transportation), your and your husband’s ages, your kids’ ages, and your four favorite places to shop for clothes for your children. If you post comments to our site, please include the name you use.
