Celebrity Parents Another family day (and holiday!) for the Dutch Royal Family By Staff Author Published on May 7, 2006 10:27 PM Share Tweet Pin Email by CBB Royalty Correspondent Char The Dutch Royal Family, this time including Queen Beatrix, went for a sailing day on Groene Draek, the family’s boat, present of the Dutch nation to Queen Beatrix on her 18th . Just as last week, it was a great surprise to see Princesses Catharina-Amalia and Alexia with them. From today, they receive the CBC award for the nicest royal couple with the press, in terms of showing her daughters more often! You can see some lovely pictures at Royal Images. After attending the Queen’s Day, they flew directly to Sweden, where the King was hosting the celebrations with ocassion of his 60th . Queen Beatrix, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima were the only ones attending. There are pictures of the ocassion, of the two lovely gala gowns she wore and of some other royals in attendance in Getty Images, which has 9 pages of photos. Next, after the busy schedule of the Queen’s Day and the two day celebrations, the Royal Family took a short holiday weekend in the residence they have in Italy, in Porto Ercole. Hola (Spanish version of Hello Magazine) has a picture of them here. Dutch Princesses Laurentien and Mabel, both expecting for June, are also out and about these days. We saw them at the Queen’s Day on the 29th of April in Zeewolde and Almere (with a lovely dressed up Princess Maxima and the rest of the family!) Mabel was also in Amsterdam talking about media on Friday on ocassion of the Liberation Day. Laurentien, who also joined the family in Italy, looked lovely dressed in pink and black the 21st of April in an event on illiteracy.
