Ann Curry on the challenges of balancing work and family

With a busy career as a journalist (including last year’s one-on-one with Angelina Jolie), Ann Curry is well aware of the challenges faced by working moms.
I’m interested in making a difference. I want to do stories that matter. That’s a big request of my family. I don’t want them to feel they’re less important than my job, because they’re not. The only thing I ever wanted was the opportunity to reach as many people as possible.
She and her husband, Brian Ross, have two children – a daughter named McKenzie and a son named Walker. Ann has worked as a co-anchor for the Today show on NBC since 1997. She also co-hosts Dateline NBC with Stone Phillips.
