Angelina Jolie on Good Morning America
Angelina Jolie‘s latest stop on her Good Shepherd press junket was at Good Morning America yesterday. It was her first television interview in promoting the movie. Of course, the conversation turned to her family. She had this to say…
(As if you didn’t know, she and boyfriend Brad Pitt have three kids: 5-year-old Maddox aka "Mad," 23-month-old Zahara aka "Z," and six-month-old Shiloh.)
Angelina and Brad plan to expand their family through adoption and possibly biologically
I even think that I did make it clear that we, we would think aboutadopting next, which is important for me in the balance of how — in ourown family, our kids perceive it. Yes, we have Shiloh and it’s been a wonderful experience, but wewant to find another brother or sister in the world for our family.
They are not planning on conceiving anytime soon.
I’m on the pill.

They are thinking about which countries to adopt from
You know, now the questions are more when you have a mixed-racefamily, do you balance the races so there’s another African person inthe house for Z? So there’s another Asian person in the house for Mad?Shiloh has Brad and I she can look at. What’s best for the children as they grow? We don’tjust want to have different children from different countries. That’snot the point.
Despite their glamorous jetset life, they enjoy the mundane aspects of parenting and homelife.
Really, the big special times are just like this morning, justvery, just a lot of nothing together. Just sitting around coloring. Webroke the coffee machine. We tried to fix it. We wereplaying with the kids, just trying to find somebody’s bottle, changesomebody’s diaper that’s, you know, gone leaky and just all that goodstuff.
Brad is a great partner and dad.
He really enjoys them. He woke up very, very earlythis morning and let me sleep in because I had this interview. …Dealing with the two girls and bottles and food, which is not easy todo, on his own, for quite a few hours this morning so I could rest. …He’s just a really great partner, a great, great man.
