Andy Cohen Says He's Still Figuring Out 'Rhythm' as Dog Trainer Defends Wacha's Bond with Son
Wacha's trainer Brandon McMillan says the dog is "very safe" with Andy Cohen's son Benjamin Allen, 5 weeks
The Watch What Happens Live host, 50, was forced to defend his decision to let his 5-week-old son Benjamin Allen spend time with his dog, Wacha, after commenters on Instagram claimed he should keep them separate.
To do so, he called on Wacha’s trainer Brandon McMillan, who urged naysayers to keep their opinions to themselves.
“I posted a picture of Wacha and the baby and everyone was losing their minds that they shouldn’t be together,” Cohen said on Tuesday’s episode of WWHL. “Do you have anything that you could say to anyone about that?”

McMillan — who has been Wacha’s trainer for four years — explained there was nothing to worry about.
“I know that dog very well. I’ve seen him with your baby. My professional opinion: Wacha is very safe with your kid, so everybody out there who suddenly became a dog trainer on the internet, please shut the hell up!” he said.
“We’re all basically just trying to figure out our rhythm here,” he wrote. “It’s gonna happen.”

The adorable shot comes after a previous photo in which Cohen captured his precious pooch snuggling up to his son on Feb. 20.
The Bravo host welcomed his son via surrogate on Feb. 4. Benjamin is Cohen’s first child.
Cohen told PEOPLE shortly after Benjamin’s birth that he held off on introducing his son to his dog initially because he wanted the baby to get “acclimated to the space and get us acclimated to everything” first.
He revealed Tuesday that Richards, 50, was the very first Real Housewife to meet the newborn.
“I’m so in love with him I can’t even take it,” she raved on WWHL. “It’s literally like holding Andy without the suit on… Like a little Andy.”
