Nominated for: Best Supporting Actor, The Dark Knight
Biggest fan: Matilda Rose, 3

Heath's nominations have been bittersweet for the Hollywood community – and presumably the actor's family, as well. Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan and castmate Gary Oldham have given eloquent speeches in Heath's honor at recent awards shows, and we have no doubt that if Heath were present, he'd be thanking his sweet little girl. In fact, if he does win the Oscar, the statuette will eventually belong to Matilda, on her 18th birthday.

MICHAEL SHANNON

Biggest fan: Sylvia, 8 months

Michael's own father passed away in November, so we're sure the nomination has an even deeper meaning for the new dad, who's married to fellow actress Kate Arrington.
