Pregnant Amy Schumer's Sister-in-Law Preps Her for Delivery with Detailed Birthing Cake
Amy Schumer, who is expecting her first child, received a very unique — and anatomically detailed — cake from her sister-in-law Molly Fischer
The delivery process has never looked so sweet.
With her due date growing closer, Amy Schumer announced that she had received a very “horrifying” gift from her husband Chris Fischer‘s sister Molly Fischer: a cake depicting a crowning baby, with a doll head poking out to greet the world.
“My sister in law. And I can’t stress that enough IN LAW. surprised me with a horrifying cake and I can’t thank her enough. So I won’t thank her at all,” the pregnant comedian, 37, wrote on Monday, alongside a handful of images of the anatomically detailed baked good.
In another one of the photographs, Schumer could be seen casting a confused look toward her sister-in-law as she stood behind the one-of-a-kind creation.
“@mofischh something is truly wrong with you and i love you,” she continued, adding the hashtags, “haunting” and “butthole.”

While Schumer seemed to have mixed feelings about the prenatal pastry, her celebrity friends couldn’t get enough of it.
“That is the best cake I’ve ever seen,” Julianne Moore added.
Taking things one step further, Jessica Alba tagged Schumer’s sister-in-law in her post, writing, “I don’t know you but we need to be friends.”

Fitting in some alone time before welcoming their first child, earlier this month, Schumer and her husband, who tied the knot in a private ceremony last year, took a “last-minute trip” to the Caribbean island of Canouan.
“Even tho I vomited the whole way there and back we had a really nice time,” Schumer captioned a photograph of herself lounging on the beach, her baby bump just visible under a black swimsuit.
Vomiting has been a consistent problem for Schumer throughout her pregnancy. She has been open about her battle with hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition marked by persistent sickness which can lead to dehydration and weight loss.
In November, Schumer was hospitalized for the condition, which also caused her to postpone a few of her stand-up comedy shows.
“The last few days have been tough. I’m grateful as hell and know it’s temporary but tough just the same,” she wrote late that month.
In one video, she could be seen vomiting on the side of a road, noting that she had thrown up some blood. She and Fischer both somberly wished the person behind the camera a merry Christmas.
