First-time fatherhood has definitely humbled Adam Levine.
“I’ve been a parent for three weeks; what do I know?” the Maroon 5 frontman, who welcomed daughter Dusty Rose with wife Behati Prinsloo on Sept. 21, joked to Ryan Seacrest Thursday during his show On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
“I don’t know anything, but it’s part of the beauty of it, honestly,” continues Levine, 37. “There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kick in and switch on. It’s a beautiful experience.”

Dusty is the first child for both Levine and Prinsloo, 27, who were married in 2014. And the new dad knew he had his work cut out for him from the start as far as being a father was concerned, although he wasn’t nervous — yet.
“We’re just gonna jump in, and just try to figure it out,” The Voice coach said in April about how he and Prinsloo planned to tackle new parenthood. “I’ll probably be a lot more freaked out when I see the baby and I’m like, ‘Oh, there’s a baby now!’ “
It’s likely Dusty, though the baby of the family now, will be a big sister soon enough, considering her dad’s wishes for the future.
“I want to have 100 kids,” he said in August 2014. “I want to have more kids than is socially responsible.”
One person who thinks Levine is up to the task? His The Voice costar, Gwen Stefani.
