ALIYAH MOULDEN — TEAM BLAKE
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
I found out he had a pet turkey named Turkey. I find that to be hilarious!
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
My grandmother Berta gave me a bracelet made of string for good luck. I wear it as much as I can. I also brought a locket that my grandmother Irene gave me. The locket has a picture of my late father inside it. Those two items are so special to me because two very loving people gave them to me.

BRENNLEY BROWN — TEAM GWEN
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
A little funny thing that Gwen does that I love is she always manages during rehearsals to talk about fashion, which is so fun for me because I'm more on the girly side. For the live playoffs performance, I remember after rehearsal she emailed me literally 14 awesome pictures of inspiration just for that week's look! It's incredible to be the only girl on Team Gwen and to have fashion advice from the queen of fashion herself.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
I wear my grandpa's dog tags when performing. He served in the Vietnam War and passed away years after he served. I wear them because he is the one that introduced classic country music into my family and I want to honor him and pay tribute. It's like a little piece of him is with me each performance.

CHRIS BLUE — TEAM ALICIA
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
The smile I've seen on TV is even more radiant in person. She's so caring and is a musical genius (although I shouldn't be surprised by that!).
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
One is a bandana. One of my spiritual mentors passed away right before the blinds. He wore bandanas, so I like to keep one as a tribute to him. The other is a necklace that my mom bought for me right after the blinds. My fiancée was with her when she bought it as well, so it's just an important reminder of the women in my life. It also reminds me of family and how important it is to love and have family with you.

HUNTER PLAKE — TEAM GWEN
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
Honestly, learning that Gwen actually cares about my career as an artist was the most amazing surprise yet. She not only wants me to succeed on the show, but she genuinely cares about me and my band and how we'll do after the show. She told me the other day, 'Hunter, I feel so honored but scared at the same time because I'm holding your career in my hands right now!' She's such a sweetheart and working with her every week is a dream.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
I'm usually a very minimal person, but I could not leave home without my steamer! For two reasons: I have to have my clothes all straight with no wrinkles, and it has this setting where I can steam my face and my throat. Coming from Louisiana, it's hard to acclimate to this low California humidity! It's seriously the best thing for me as a singer and I don't know what I would do if I left it at home.

My guitar. I have to bring my guitar everywhere — even on vacation!

LILLI PASSERO — TEAM ADAM
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
My favorite thing about Adam is that he's pretty transparent! He doesn't pretend to be something he's not, so I haven't felt too surprised by anything.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
I made sure to bring my essential oils and diffuser with me. They are magic!

MARK ISAIAH — TEAM ADAM
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
The most surprising thing I learned about my coach is seeing how knowledgeable about music Adam is.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
One item I had to bring with me was my gold chain. It's important to me because my aunt and uncle gifted me with it. They mean a lot to me.

STEPHANIE RICE — TEAM ALICIA
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
When you sit with her, it's like talking to your best friend except it's Alicia Keys so I'm blushing the whole time.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
I had to bring my lucky hat! It makes me feel less shy.

TROY RAMEY — TEAM GWEN
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
I now know that no matter what, I will always be underdressed when I'm in a room with Gwen!
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
When I decided to do The Voice, my younger sister sent me a ring that my dad used to wear when he was in a band. She had been looking after it for a long time and wanted me to have it for this journey. I wear it every day and I think it's bringing me some good luck.

TSOUL — TEAM BLAKE
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
He has an arsenal of dance moves — as many, if not more, than TSoul! Rehearsals are often interrupted by a combination of moves from us both.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
As the son and brother of a chef and coming from a family with its own catering company (K&K Catering), I had to bring my hot plate so I can feel at home by cooking. My Voice family has shared many meals together cooked on that hot plate!

VANESSA FERGUSON — TEAM ALICIA
What's the most surprising thing you've learned about your coach?
It's been very cool to see that she is the way she seems to be — very laid-back, cool and down to earth.
What's the one thing you had to bring with you to L.A.?
No matter where I'm traveling to in the world, I always have to bring my hat and my blanket. If only those things could talk!
