The couple got engaged in October

Lady Gaga had the support of her fiancé Christian Carino at the 2019 SAG Awards Sunday night.

The couple, who got engaged in early October, couldn’t help but show off their affection for one another during the ceremony.

Gaga, 32, and Carino, 49, held hands as they headed to their seats following a commercial break and Carino even held out his fiancée’s chair for her.

Gaga made a grand entrance earlier in the night thanks to her show-stopping Dior Haute Couture gown.

Gaga walked the carpet wearing a plunging white gown with shredded tulle details and a super-high slit over tulle briefs – which was seen on the brand’s couture runway less than a week ago.

She added a choker, shining earrings and white pumps, plus some super Old Hollywood glam via her dark lips and earrings.

Carino complemented his lady love in an all black tux.

It’s a big night for the actress, who’s nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role for her performance in A Star Is Born.

Gaga and Carino’s appearance at the SAG Awards comes after the couple walked the red carpet together at the 2019 Golden Globes on Jan. 6.

While the pair has largely kept their love low-key from the beginning, they are always there to support each other from the wings.

Carino was on hand to support Gaga ahead of her show-stopping Super Bowl LI halftime performance in Houston in 2017, where the couple was photographed cuddling on the field ahead of her big performance.

An insider previously told PEOPLE that “Christian is a good, grounding force and understands her career. She’s in a great place now.”

The 25th SAG Awards, hosted by Megan Mullally, are being broadcast live on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
