Pink Surprises Fans in a Nashville Bar with a Performance of Janis Joplin Classic After Concert
While making a stop in Nashville on her Beautiful Trauma tour, Pink took advantage of all that Music City has to offer
For Pink, the party doesn’t stop when the concert’s over.
Following a stop on her Beautiful Trauma tour at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sunday night, the “What About Us” singer made an appearance at Music City’s Tootsie’s World Famous Orchid Lounge, where she treated the crowd to an impromptu performance of the Janis Joplin classic, “Me and Bobby McGee.”
In a video of the performance shared to Tootsie’s Facebook page, fans in the packed lounge can be seen clapping along and dancing as Pink, 39, sings some impressive vocal runs.
“P!nk channeling her inner Janis Joplin!” the caption accompanying the video reads. “Thanks for stopping by, we had a blast.”
The following day, Pink checked out cowboy boots at Boot Country on Lower Broadway with her 2-year-old son Jameson Moon and a security guard. Jameson seemed to fall in love with a pair of boots, as he walked around the store in a pair made for tykes. While paying, she sat her little guy on top of the counter, his little legs adorably dangling over the side.
Later in the day, Pink shared an adorable photo on Instagram showing off Jameson’s new black boots, while the mother-son duo drank out of their respective bottles.
“Hangin out in Nashville with my homie #andhisnewboots,” she captioned the image.
Cowboy boots aren’t the only addition to the tour bus — Pink announced Tuesday that she and husband Carey Hart had welcomed a furry new family member.
“Thank you to the Nashville Humane Association for bringing puppies to the show for us to play with. Of course we went home with one. Meet our new rescue, his name is Nash. Short for Nashville 😍” she captioned a photo of her 7-year-old daughter Willow Sage holding the pup. “#causewhynotaddmorelove #suckerforapoundpup #notenoughstressalready #chaos #whatthehelljusthappened #sweetboy.”
“Going on tour with children is really tricky. It’s exhausting. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” Pink said. “But I’m very, very fortunate that I get to bring my kids with me and that I kind of get to integrate them into my [work] life.”

And that’s why she makes sure to keep a routine. In a post last week, the singer revealed that she makes sure her family sits down for dinner together at least twice a week, even when she’s on tour.
The photo she posted showed her seated around a small table with Hart, 43, Willow and Jameson. The family can be seen enjoying a meal of both hard and soft tacos complete with all the fixings, which can be found in bowls across the table.
“At least twice a week on tour, we shut the door to the outside world and have family dinner,” Pink wrote in the photo’s caption. “As you can see, it makes Jameson feel deep, deep joy,” she joked.
