Miley Cyrus Thanks Husband Liam Hemsworth for 'Always Bending Down to Hug Me'

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are spending their first Valentine's Day together as a married couple after tying the knot in December

Miley Cyrus has a lot of love for her Valentine, husband Liam Hemsworth.

In honor of their first Valentine’s Day together as a married couple, the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer posted several never-before-seen photos to her social media accounts on Thursday from her and Hemsworth’s wedding, which was an intimate, secret ceremony held at Cyrus’ home in Franklin, Tennessee, on Dec. 23, 2018.

“My Valentine every single day,” Cyrus, 26, captioned the first black-and-white photo, which shows her and the actor, 29, snuggling up at their wedding.

In the caption of the next black-and-white photo, which features the couple standing and hugging with their faces turned away from the camera, Cyrus thanked her new husband for making their height-difference work as he’s 6’3″ and she’s 5’5″.

“Thank you for always bending down to hug me … I promise I will always meet you in the middle on my tippiest toes! I love you Valentine!” Cyrus wrote.

“L❤️VE YOU Valentine,” Cyrus captioned the photo, while also making sure to tag Hemsworth’s social media handles.

The next three posts that Cyrus shared to her Instagram and Twitter were solo shots of her posing in her off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood wedding gown. Two of the photos show off her beautiful wedding bouquet and a rose arch, while the other sees Cyrus sitting on the floor.

Earlier in the day, Cyrus shared a cheeky snapshot to Twitter and her Instagram story from her Bangerz tour, which showed her lying on her back with her legs raised in the air as she wore a high-cut bodysuit and white boots.

The meme-style photograph, shot from the front, had accompanying text that read, “When it’s valentine’s day and bae says hi.”

Cyrus made sure Hemsworth knew he was the intended recipient of the unconventional Valentine, tagging his social media handles and writing, “Love you.”

Hemsworth was briefly hospitalized on Saturday night, his Isn’t It Romantic costar Rebel Wilson first revealed over the weekend. PEOPLE confirmed on Monday that Hemsworth was dealing with kidney stones.

Cyrus attended the film’s Los Angeles premiere in Hemsworth’s stead on Monday night, posing for photos on the red carpet alone and with Wilson.

A source told PEOPLE on Tuesday that although Hemsworth “was briefly hospitalized,” he was “at home resting and will be fine.”

In an Instagram post, the “Wrecking Ball” singer — who was posed in front of a photo featuring Hemsworth playing saxophone — left a flirty message for her new husband. “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you,” she wrote. “Play that sax you sexy f—. ❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️”

Hemsworth issued a statement on his Instagram account after the premiere, as well, where he apologized for missing the event and gave a sweet shout-out to his wife. “Sorry I couldn’t make it to the @isntitromantic premier tonight guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days,” explained the Australian actor.

“Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me! Thanks for the support babe!” Hemsworth added. “I hope everyone enjoys the movie! It’s a perfect Valentine’s Day flick so if ya ain’t got nothin better to do then go see it! Love to all!”
