The superstar arrived at the Mariah’s World viewing party — held at Catch restaurant in NYC’s trendy Meatpacking District — wearing a glittering mini-dress, embroidered with dazzling diamante beading, and sparkling high-heeled sandals to match. She topped off the ensemble with diamond studs, elegant necklace, and a ring in the shape of — what else? — a butterfly. While Mimi went full-on bejeweled, Tanaka opted for a rocker-chic look with torn jeans, white T-shirt, and a leather jacket. Despite the contrasting attire, the pair looked every inch the loving couple as they posed for photographers. “I’ve always had a thing for Mariah. I love her so much,” Tanaka told E! News. “Just make sure you tune in to the show and you’ll see kind of how everything happens.” The budding romance has been heating up in recent months. Carey and Tanaka spent a sun-filled Thanksgiving weekend in Hawaii, where they were spotting packing on the PDA during a beach stroll at Maui’s Grand Wailea Resort. Prior to that, they were seen enjoying date nights around Los Angeles. AKM-GSI Tanaka also has a role in the singer’s sweet, sweet fantasy of a television series, which is full unforgettable moments courtesy of the Elusive Chanteuse. Whether it’s swimming in a gown and crown, or calling on an army to help her strap on her heels, read on for some of the premiere’s most amazing moments.
