Lady Gaga Thanks Fans After Opening Up About Chronic Pain: 'Hope This Helps Some of You'
Lady Gaga is opening up about her chronic pain to help soothe others suffering from the same condition.
On Thursday, the star shared a photo of her shoulder being treated by a doctor and captioned the image, “Having a frustrating day with chronic pain, but I find myself feeling so blessed to have such strong intelligent female doctors.”
She also talked about her aunt, who inspired her latest album Joanne, and wrote, “I think about Joanne too and her strength and the day gets a little easier.”
And on Friday, the 30-year-old singer took to Instagram again after receiving so many messages from her fans.
“I was so overwhelmed by the empathy, confessions & personal stories of chronic pain in response to my previous post I thought what the hell. Maybe I should just share some of my personal remedies I’ve acquired over the past five years. Everyone’s body and condition is different U should consult w ure Dr. but what the heck here we go!”
One item on her list of cures was to go into an infrared sauna, as shown in the photo accompanying her advice.
“I combine this treatment with marley silver emergency blankets (seen in the photo) that trap in heat and are very cheap, reusable and effective for detox as well as weight loss!” she wrote in the post.

Gaga ended her post by thanking her fans for all of their support.
“Hope this helps some of you, it helps me to keep doing my passion, job and the things I love even on days when I feel like I can’t get out of bed,” she wrote. “Love you and thank you for all your positive messages.”
Back in 2013, Gaga postponed several concerts due to a show injury and chronic pain.
“I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “I’m devastated & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible. I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I’m sorry.”
