After making waves with his controversial meeting with President-elect Donald Trump Tuesday morning in New York City, Kanye West is back in L.A. with his family.

Multiple sources confirm the rapper jetted back from the Big Apple on Wednesday after his whirlwind trip. According to one insider, West spent time with his wife Kim Kardashian West and their children — North, 3, and Saint, 1 — at their Bel Air home on his return.

West, 39, who was spotted out in New York City on Monday sporting a new blond hair-do, appeared to be in good spirits as he hunted for apartments with Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble.

On Tuesday, he was seen entering Trump Tower in New York with an entourage, including a videographer and Gamble.

“We’ve been friends for a long time,” the future president, 70, told reporters after posing for photos with the entertainer. The two hugged and shook hands before parting ways.

West later elaborated about the meeting on his Twitter account. “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,” West posted in the first of a series of tweets Tuesday afternoon. “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future president if we truly want change.”

The visit with Trump came just two weeks after West was released from a more than week-long hospitalization at UCLA Medical Center, where he was treated for exhaustion and sleep deprivation following a breakdown.
