You might recognize him as Stephen Colbert‘s bandleader on The Late Show, but Jon Batiste is continuing to pursue his solo career with a new holiday album.

On Christmas with Jon Batiste — available exclusively on Amazon — the singer delights with a collection of holiday classics as well as originals, including “Endless Love,” a duet with R&B pal Aloe Blacc. PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at Batiste and Blacc’s music video for the new track.

“Growing up in New Orleans there is music for every occasion, spanning the full gamut of human emotion and culture. This album is a tribute to my roots and to the uplifting spirit of Christmas,” Batiste, 30, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“Recording this album is something I have wanted to do since I was a kid and first heard the A Charlie Brown Christmas music,” he adds. “I was fortunate to have some of my best friends and closest collaborators by my side to help me realize this goal. I’ve always felt a sense of musical kinship with Aloe Blacc. We’ve written several songs together, but Endless Love was a highlight. It flowed so well that we composed and recorded the song all in the span of one evening!”

Born into a family of jazz musicians, Batiste began performing at age 8, studied at Juilliard and collaborated with everyone from Prince to Lenny Kravitz before booking his late-night gig.

Christmas with Jon Batiste is out now.
