Frankie Jonas celebrated his graduation from audio engineering school by wearing a very throwback shirt

Talk about graduating in style!

On Friday, the Jonas family celebrated Frankie Jonas’ graduation from The Blackbird Academy, an audio engineering school in Nashville, Tennessee,

Adding a bit of humor to the happy day, Frankie — affectionately nicknamed the “Bonus Jonas” by fans — decided to pay tribute to his accomplishment by wearing a very special T-shirt, which had a throwback photo of himself as a child on it.

In the image, a young Frankie grins while standing next to a yellow heart and a blown-up version of his name.

Sharing a silly video from the graduation ceremony on his Instagram Story, Frankie’s older brother Joe zooms in on his 18-year-old brother’s diploma, asking, “Is this real?”

Pointing to his shirt, Frankie gamely replies, “It’s real.”

“I don’t know which I like more,” Joe, 29, adds with a laugh. Jonas/InstagramFrankie Jonas

Celebrating her brother-in-law’s achievement, Priyanka Chopra went on to post a series of images from the big day — including a smiling group photo with herself, Frankie, Joe, and the boys’ parents Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise.

“The man of the hour!! @franklinjonas we r so proud of u.. “Graduate” ! Can’t wait to witness what else u will accomplish in your life. To bigger and greater heights! Love u❤️,” she captioned the snaps.

Joe also went on to share a sweet video of Frankie receiving his diploma onstage.

“Words cannot describe how proud I am of this guy right here. @franklinjonas has graduated from @theblackbirdacademy watch out world!” he wrote, before jokingly adding, “I’m not crying you are crying!”

Although Frankie is the only one of his brothers not involved in the Jonas Brothers, a love of music definitely runs in the family.

Frankie, who releases music under the pseudonym MEPHISTO, used to share electronic beats and instrumental clips on SoundCloud. Although his last post is from nearly a year ago, a song he co-wrote alongside Alli Haber called “Too Young” was released in January.

Speaking of their collaboration, Haber told Celeb Secrets that Frankie “is such a talented producer.”

“I feel like he brought out the best in me and working with him was super easy. There were just good vibes throughout the entire process,” she shared.

While Frankie doesn’t expect to release any of his own music anytime soon, he does spend much of his time behind the scenes — and his brothers are supportive.

“They’ve been a really big influence on my whole process, helping me through it, being there to say try this, try that,” he told CelebMix last year.

“The one thing they’ve told me was most of all to keep at it because if you love it, then nothing else matters and that’s true if you love making music then just continue doing that,” he added.
