It’s the most wonderful time of the year and this year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball lineup is proving it by teaming up for charity!
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Joe Jonas‘ band DNCE is partnering up with fellow Z100 Jingle Ball performers Fifth Harmony, Hailee Steinfeld, Charlie Puth, Tinashe, Daya, Rita Ora and more to sing a song benefiting Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty fighting organization. Uniting to sing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” the single will raise funds to help New York City’s homeless during the holiday season, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Robin Hood.
The star-studded group of performers will come together for a special performance of the song during New York’s Jingle Ball on Friday at Madison Square Garden. Superstars Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and One Direction‘s Niall Horan will also be performing at the concert.
And on top of the money fans can raise by donating, the Robin Hood Board will also be matching proceeds earned up to $100,000, making the initiative a huge one for the city’s homeless — 23,000 of which are children.
“The homeless in New York City and across the country are hardest hit during the holiday season and its incredible to see that once again musicians and artists have stepped up to help those less fortunate,” said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises at iHeartMedia. “iHeartMedia is committed to using all of our powerful assets — radio, digital, video, live events and social — in the spirit of giving back to the needy during the holidays.”
For those wanting to help Robin Hood and the city’s homeless, donations can be made by texting 27722 to give $10 or visiting rh.org/give.
