DJ Khaled kicked off this weekend’s third annual REVOLT Music Conference on Thursday by snagging a huge honor — the key to Miami Beach. It all went down at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel, where Mayor Philip Levine handed over the over-sized key to the artist and Snapchat icon. “I love Miami,” Khaled, 40, told 7 News Miami at Eden Roc. “To get a key to the city — Miami Beach — You know, I already have a key to Miami, so it’s just more keys! Each key leads to the next key.” Always quick to turn to social media, Khaled posted his thanks on Instagram. “Thank you Mayer Levine!” he wrote on one message. “Thank you for the keys to Miami Beach.” In addition to honoring Khaled, Mayor Levine also paid tribute to REVOLT chairman and founder by officially declaring Oct. 13 Sean “Diddy” Combs Day. Last year Combs received the honorary key to Miami Beach, and this year he passed the touch to dad-to-be Khaled, who has just been named the face of Combs’ new Cîroc Mango vodka and the “Let’s Get It” campaign. The action continues all this weekend, but fans are really excited for Friday night’s exclusive yacht party held aboard the SeaFair Miami. The Apple Music-led event will feature DJ Khaled and friends — which PEOPLE can reveal includes Fabolous, Ja Rule, Jadakiss, Jeezy, Rick Ross, Trina, Dave East, Kent Jones and Nas.
