A source close to Lovato, 26, confirms exclusively to PEOPLE the couple are no longer dating. And despite reports, Levy was never the singer’s sober companion, adds the source. The exes were first linked in November after they were photographed together on a sushi dinner date in Los Angeles shortly after the “Confident” singer left a treatment facility following an overdose. They also rang in the new year together with a trip to Aspen. Levy last shared a photo of the pair in France on Jan. 14. She did recently go to a facility, but it was her own decision,” said the source. “It was one trip to a treatment facility for a few weeks outside of Los Angeles.” Now back home in L.A., Lovato is “taking care of herself and is in a positive place,” added the source. “She’s working out and getting back in the studio to make music.”
