"It's my first time doing a show in beautiful Hyde Park. I'm so excited,” Céline Dion said of her only European concert scheduled for this year
Céline Dion says she has a yearning to try some traditional British food — so she’s heading to London to sample it and sing.
The Grammy-winner is set to headline a summertime festival in London’s Hyde Park on July 5, it was revealed early Tuesday. “I’ve got a big craving for some sausage and mash … and sticky toffee pudding!” she says in the video message that accompanied the announcement. “London, here we come. Ciao. Be there!”
Her star turn at the Barclaycard British Summer Time concert is her only European show of the year and will come just a month after she brings her second Las Vegas residency, Céline, to an end on June 8.
“It’s my first time doing a show in beautiful Hyde Park. I’m so excited,” the 50-year-old said in a statement. “I love London, and it’s a great honor for me to be part of the Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park concerts.”
