Cardi B has had it up to here with people questioning her intelligence.

Known for speaking her mind, the “Money” rapper, 26, has turned her unfiltered opinion towards politics, slamming President Donald Trump for refusing to end the federal government shutdown over his controversial border wall.

While many fans have been delighted by Cardi’s political musings, conservative FOX Nation host and commentator Tomi Lahren isn’t one of them.

“Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats. HA! Keep it up, guys!” Lahren, also 26, wrote on Wednesday, shortly after Cardi criticized Trump for calling some federal employees back to work without being paid in an expletive-filled Instagram rant.

On Sunday, Cardi responded by telling Lahren, “Leave me alone or I will dog walk you.”

Lahren went on to insult Cardi’s intelligence, writing, “I’m sure you would. Still doesn’t make your political rambling any less moronic.”

You’re so blinded with racism that you don’t even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much,” the rapper wrote back in a fiery response. “You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!”

Newly elected Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez weighed in on the feud, siding with Cardi.

“Why do people think they can mess with Bronx women without getting roasted?” she wrote on Sunday. “They act as though our borough hasn’t been perfecting the clapback game since the Sugarhill Gang y’all just found it on Twitter.”

In an Instagram Live on Sunday, Cardi went on to explain she’s “so tired of people insulting me.”

“A lot of people think I’m dumb, think I’m ghetto because of the way I talk…but just because I’m that it doesn’t make me dumb and one thing I really want y’all to understand about me, I’m a very passionate person when it comes to history and when it comes to political things, and I always been like that,” the rapper shared.

“It just really gets me upset when people say, ‘Oh you doin’ this s—, you’re dumb, you shouldn’t be talking about this shit’… This is a passion that I have,” she continued, before explaining that in addition to taking AP history and government classes in high school, she has spent a lot of her free time researching world history.

“You can even ask Offset,” she added, referencing her ex, with whom she shares 6-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari.

Although this isn’t the first time that Cardi has gotten political, she turned things up a notch earlier this week when she stressed just how serious the current government shutdown is.

“Now I know a lot of y’all don’t care because y’all don’t work for the government or y’all probably don’t even have a job but this s— is really f— serious, bro. This s— is crazy,” she explained in an Instagram video earlier this week. “Our country is in a hell hole right now all for a f—ing wall and we really need to take this serious[ly].”

“I feel like we need to take some action. I don’t know what type of action, bitch, ’cause this is not what I do, but bitch I’m scared,” she finished. “This is crazy and I really feel bad for these people who need to go to f—ing work to not get motherf—ing paid.”

She wrote in the video caption, “I know a lot of ya do r watch the news so I’m letting ya know s— getting real …..I ain’t going to say nothing much tho I don’t want mofos to off me…..ANYWAYS TWERK VIDEO OUT NOW.”

In a separate post, Cardi went on tell her followers that while “it’s a little boring to watch the news,” it’s important to pay attention.

“Soo many people under my comments talking about I shouldn’t talk politics ,I don’t know what I’m talking about , I’m dumb ! Well I know alittle something something..I know 800,000 federal government workers won’t be getting paid till the shutdown is over and government assistants program are shutdown as well as in NO WELFARE , NO WIC,SECTION 8,” she wrote.

“I know it’s a little boring to watch the news but it won’t kill ya to visit some IG pages of people that talk about what’s going on in our community like @shaunking@tamikadmallory and shiiieeett sometimes uncle snoop and Charlamgne be saying some s— that goes over ya heads .PAY ATTENTION !!! This can go on for months and it will affect our homes and Country,” she added.

The government closed on Dec. 22 in the wake of Trump’s call for funding for a proposed southern border wall.

The billionaire businessman-turned-president, 72, claims he needs the wall to stem a “crisis” of drugs, violence and human trafficking. Congressional Democrats, empowered by the midterms, have rejected that — calling a wall immoral and ineffective and offering to negotiate about border security once the government is reopened.

On Saturday, day 29 of the shutdown, Trump suggested a compromise, proposing a new bill that would offer temporary protection for some undocumented immigrants in exchange for $5.7 billion in wall funding.

In a statement that was issued before Trump delivered his compromise on-air, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi rejected his proposal, calling it a “non-starter.”

It currently remains unclear how or when the shutdown will end.
