Carly Rae Jepsen continues to increase her cred with the hipster set with her latest music video appearance.

The massively underrated pop star joins friend and collaborator Blood Orange (aka Dev Hynes) in his clip for new single “Better Than Me,” which appears on his latest album Freetown Sound.

Jepsen is featured as a guest artist on the moody indie-R&B song, but it’s not the first time she and the alternative singer-songwriter/producer teamed up: Hynes also co-wrote and -produced “All That,” a fan-favorite slow jam on Jepsen’s 2015 ’80s throwback masterpiece Emotion.

Though she came to fame for her ubiquitous bubblegum breakout “Call Me Maybe” in 2012, Jepsen has in recent years collaborated with a slew of genre-spanning hitmakers on both Emotion and its follow-up EP Emotion: Side B (released earlier this year), as well as lending her vocals to tracks with EDM duo The Knocks (“Love Me Like That”) and British producer Danny L Harle (“Super Natural”).
