With 16 nods, Post Malone led the pack, while Lil Nas X trailed closely behind with 13 nominations, and Billie Eilish and Khalid tied with 12 each. The awards show this year is being broadcast live from NBC on Wednesday after being postponed from April 29 due to the pandemic. Kelly Clarkson is back for her third time as award show host. At 27 trophies, he set a record-high for the artist with the most awards beating out Taylor Swift, who has 23. Cardi B, who led the nominations list with 21 in 2019, came home with six trophies. The Canadian rapper is only up for five awards, Cardi B is nominated for just one and Swift has six noms this year.
