Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen is expecting a baby boy via surrogate in February
Talk about a baby shower gift!
The Backstreet Boys surprised Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host Andy Cohen by singing his baby boy on the way a special a cappella rendition of the classic lullaby, “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” complete with their signature pitch-perfect harmonies.
“Andy, on behalf of myself and the fellas, we have a very special treat just for your future baby boy,” AJ McLean says in the clip. “So this is from us, to you.”
Littrell agrees, “I almost went to sleep.”
On the Dec. 20 episode of WWHL, Cohen, 50, revealed he’s expecting his first child via surrogate in front of OG Real Housewives Vicki Gunvalson, Ramona Singer, NeNe Leakes, Kyle Richards and Teresa Giudice.
“Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science — if all goes according to plan in about six weeks time I’m going to become a father,” Cohen said. “Thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future.”
“Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life,” he continued. “Though it’s taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet.”
“It’s a boy,” he said. “It’s a boy and I got to tell you something, I cannot wait to meet this boy.”
“When I was growing up and when we were growing up … I just never thought it would be possible as a gay man to grow up and have a family,” he continued. “And here we are in 2018, almost , and anything’s possible. And I’m so grateful to a wonderful surrogate that I’m working with.”
Over the weekend, Cohen was surrounded by Bravo’s biggest names and his good pal John Mayer at an extravagant baby shower.
The exciting bash took place at The Palm Beverly Hills, where Cohen’s BFF (and Radio Andy personality) Bruce Bozzi, Jr. serves as executive vice president. Guests sat at a long singular dinner table with gold flatware, long-stem candles and white and blue flowers as bundles of white balloons hung from the ceiling.
Richards, Gunvalson, Singer, Leakes and Giudice organized and hosted the event, and nearly 50 Housewives from across seven franchises attended the celebration.
On Tuesday, Cohen shared photos from a second star-studded baby shower he had previously celebrated on the East coast.
“I had a heart-boner for days after this crew threw me an equally epic affair on the East Coast. I feel loved & it’s all going to the 👶. Thank you @brucebozzi @kellyripa @sarahjessicaparker @jackie__greenberg,” Cohen captioned the picture, noting Anderson Cooper did a “beautiful job” making his ribbon hat.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who was beaming in the image, has openly showered the expectant dad with lots of love following his baby announcement.
“I am overcome with joy and join Andy’s friends and family as we anticipate the safe arrival of the already much-loved baby Cohen,” the Sex and the City alum, 53, previously told PEOPLE. “Andy will be a wonderful father and has been waiting forever to be called Papa.”
“I can’t wait to meet and know his child and offer any help or guidance I can offer the new daddy,” she added. “This has been a hard secret to keep and I was so thrilled to hear him share his very happy news last night. Now we are just counting the days.”
