Adele's third album officially made diamond status last Tuesday

Adele‘s 25 keeps on shining.

The pop star’s third album officially made diamond status last Tuesday, earning 10 million certified units in the United States alone, according to the RIAA.

Albums rarely hit diamond anymore, but Adele is two for her last two. 21, propelled by the singles “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You,” hit the 10-million mark on Nov. 28, 2012, nearly two years after its January 2011 release. 25 earned this mark in just over 10 months. Adele’s debut 19 was certified at triple platinum.

The singer is currently promoting25 on her Adele Live 2016 tour, which is slated to end Nov. 21 in Phoenix. The album’s lead single “Hello” was just certified as seven-time platinum.
