Will Smith Is Ready for Action on 'Bad Boys for Life' Set With Martin Lawrence in Miami

Bad Boys For Life, the third film in the franchise, will hit theaters January 2020

The Bad Boys are back in town.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were spotted in Miami Tuesday filming scenes for the upcoming Bad Boys For Life, the long-awaited third installment in the buddy cop franchise.

Smith, 50, was snapped in action wearing a black button-down shirt with black pants and shoes as he toted a gun in his hands.

Lawrence, meanwhile, was seen throwing his hands up in the air wearing a black shirt, white sneakers and a white and maroon jacket, while he completed the look with a Band-Aid stuck to his forehead.

The co-stars were also photographed filming a scene in which they walked and talked together.

Smith and Lawrence, 53, are set to reprise their roles as Miami cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in the film, which serves as a sequel to both 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II.

Though the film’s plot has been kept largely under wraps, they’ve been spotted on set twice before; once in January, and again late last month with Smith on a motorcycle and Lawrence next to him in a sidecar.

Both stars announced the film was a go in November on social media.

“Yo, yo. I’m telling y’all. I’m telling y’all this is crazy, wait, wait, just wait — it’s official!” Smith said in a video while at the beach with Lawrence.

“It’s official, baby! It’s official! Bad boys 3 is happening! It’s official! It’s official!” Smith continued as Lawrence could be heard saying, “It’s official.”

New additions to the cast include Vanessa Hudgens, Vikings actor Alexander Ludwig, Riverdale’s Charles Melton and Joe Pantoliano, reprising his role as Captain Howard.

Bad Boys For Life will hit theaters in January 2020.
