Brad Pitt won’t be attending the Golden Globes with his wife, Angelina Jolie Pitt, who is in Cambodia directing First They Killed My Father, but that doesn’t mean he’s going stag.

Even without his stunning wife on his arm, Pitt may still be able to take home the best looking couple of the night title with his date, who we hear is a man with some serious star power of his own. We’re guessing (and hoping) it’s his costar from The Big Short, Ryan Gosling. But we won’t be disappointed if he ends up taking George Clooney.

Pitt, 52, is a producer and has a small role in the Adam McKay-directed film, which tells the story of four outsiders who predicted the financial crisis in the 2000s. Gosling has a more prominent role as a former trader for Deutsche Bank.

The film is nominated in the best motion picture, musical or comedy category, and costars Steve Carell and Christian Bale are both nominated in the best actor, musical or comedy, category.

Pitt, who has six Golden Globe nominations and two wins under his belt, has also been in talks to be a presenter at the awards show.

The Golden Globes will air live at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) Sunday on NBC.
