The literature at stake? Erik Larson’s 2003 The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Great American Novel of 1925, The Great Gatsby.
As for The Devil in the White City, it’s a killer role – literally. DiCaprio will produce and star in the movie as deceivingly charming serial killer H.H. Holmes, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
